CRIBBAGE CHAMP 2017 !!
As one of the many winter activities that take place out of the bowling season at the Eastbourne Bowling Club is the ever popular card game of Cribbage.
The game which was created in the early part of the 17thC from an earlier game called Noddy is regularly played by a good number of keen club members, culminating in the overall champion and runners up, also with the wooden spoon going to the player whose game leaves some room for improvement. All played in good spirit and fun.
Cribbage Champion was Mike Cartwright,2nd place Malcolm Hodgkinson,3rd place Marrienne Hylands 4th place Pauline Jackson with the wooden spoon going to Jackie Curtis.
